You don’t need to go far to see some amazing wildlife
From otters to seals, oyster catchers, black throated divers and porpoises…
Waterside Cottage is situated on the edge of Broadford Bay which is one of the Highland’s best known locations for birdlife. Whatever the season you will see different resident and migratory species which include curlews, dunlins, oystercatchers, redshanks, cormorants, sandpipers, herons, pochard, eider ducks, shelducks, wigeon, greylag and barnacle geese.
The shore is also well known for fossils and the stretch from the house to the site at Ashaig, Lower Breakish is a good place to hunt.
